Well after my August “half time” break it was back to work, and it was nice to have Dave and Chris here for their second visit to the fabulous River Ebro.
The weather in September normally starts to cool down but we had 3 days of intense heat with temps reaching an incredible 43 degrees in the shade. So us sat under Figgy wasn’t much of a relief from the heat but Dave and Chris fished through the first 2 nights of their stay catching 2 80’s , equaling their bests from their first trip.

We spent the next couple of days fishing for roach up at Ribaroja just for a change of scenery, they caught a few over the pound mark. They then decided another go for the cats back at “Figgy” which proved a good decision. 2 quick fish made them decide to stay the night with them catching 5 more including 2 90’s and 2 80’s.

Chris cut short his stay leaving Dave here, which we finished off fishing for carp. Also a good decision as he went on to catch 15 including a new PB at 27lb 8oz.

Very hot conditions but with a bit of hard work on the bank they landed some cracking fish……..
