Paul was here last year and with 2 new faces it was straight to the river rods out!!!
Well not an hour went by when Martin was in, cat on great good fight ending in a huge carp coming to the waiting gloves!!!! Gloves changed to a Landing new and in she went, great start as the scales went round to 33lb 13oz.
Boilies and pellets were the bait and the night drawing in what was in store for the lads.
Well great action as cats of 70lb and 84 hit the bank as well as plenty of carp to mid 20’s.
Next night with more carp and cat action with Paul landing a cracker at 98lb new PB and Allen absolutely smashing his with a truly huge carp at 42lb 4oz.
Next day was slow but the nights were producing so no panic, night fell and the rods were busy, 4 cats landed 99lb for Martin, 72lb and 84 for Allen and Paul chipping in with a 30 plus.

Great fishing 99lb 84lb and Allen 72lb and as we were packing away the camp Martin landed another cracking carp at 35lb 2oz.
Their trip ended with 29 fish landed in 4 nights 99lb, 98lb, 2x 80’s 2x 70’s carp of 42lb 4oz, 33lb 13oz and 35lb 2oz great fishing totalling to over 1060lb with many PB’s broken, great trip looking for ward to next year, and as you are wondering it was Paul who let the scales settle at 99lb!!!!! Great fun lads very well deserved.
