Last week the river here in Flix was still flowing with ” doors still open, Ive never seen so much water pass through the river but down the edges we have had some success.
I was keeping a spot topped up with a few pellets and with an hour to spare flicked out a rod baited with a couple of Hawiian Pineapple boilies that we have had great action on.
10 mins went by rod rips off and I’m into a cat!! great scrap managed to get the gloves on for landing when up popped a carp!!
Oh dear a real surprize and a cracking fish all 41lb 2oz of her.
