Les and Barry were here for the cats, not really into their carp fishing so with the river pushing through here there was only one place to go.
1 day spent checking out the Segre at Mequinenza which was flowing but very fishable.
Dingy loaded quick trip to buy some leads (800g) thats not far off 2lb of lead!! and a few sacks of pellets.
First day slow but by the end of the week we had 5 fish, Barry with a 64 and 73, Les with fish of 28, 86 and breaking the ton with a fish of 103lb, all fish showing bite marks from spawning.
Hopefully with the cats now coming out of spawning mode the fishing will pick up, the river still has alot of water flowing through it though fingers crossed no more rain!
