The Local Village of Flix & Surrounding Areas

The village centre is only a 12 minute walk along the lane, where the locals still produce their own fruit ad vegetables. For the evening the village has many bars and restaurants where you can try typical dishes like Paella or Tapas, or if you prefer why not have a riverside BBQ where you don't have to miss out on any action.

Although your holiday is based on fishing, I'm sure whilst you are here you will want to know what else Catalunia has to offer. The town of Flix where we are based is a small market town with a population of about 4,500 people. Once guarded by its castle this beautiful town has many bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a disco and public swimming pools.

Flix has a main rail link straight to Barcelona, which is you haven't been before is a beautiful city with many things to see and do. Salou and the main theme park Port Aventura are only a 50 minute drive away. This popular holiday resort boasts a beautiful beach, many bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife.
