The accommodation being only 150 metres from the river means you can really make the most of your stay here. It comprises of 3 twin rooms all of which have en-suite. The rooms open out onto the gardens of the house, where you can relax when you need to take a break. Each morning breakfast is served on the balcony of the main house, here you can enjoy full English, cereals or continental whilst looking out onto the nature reserve.

Here at On The Ebro you can relax and really enjoy your stay in the beautiful surroundings. The nature reserve is on the far bank and is home to a vast number of different birds. In the summer months you can listen to the amazing tropical sounds of Golden Oriole and watch Black Kites perform and search for their prey. As dusk falls look out for Nightjars flying silently looking for moths, and the Nightingale sings its incredible song all through the night.

When out on the boat you can see more of the landscape, three types of Heron visit here, Egrets, Bee-eaters and the ever-present Kingfishers which can always be seen busily diving for their food.

On Site Tackle Shop

On site there is a tackle show stocked with the full range of Korda end tackle. Here you can purchase all you will need for your stay. For those of you who have not fished for giant catfish before, we stock all you will need to tackle these monsters. We also stock a good selection of baits, boiles, ground bait, pellets, even worms or maggots. For the catfish we stock large halibut pellets and live eels

The Local Village of Flix & Surrounding Areas

The village centre is only a 12 minute walk along the lane, where the locals still produce their own fruit ad vegetables. For the evening the village has many bars and restaurants where you can try typical dishes like Paella or Tapas, or if you prefer why not have a riverside BBQ where you don't have to miss out on any action.

Although your holiday is based on fishing, I'm sure whilst you are here you will want to know what else Catalunia has to offer. The town of Flix where we are based is a small market town with a population of about 4,500 people. Once guarded by its castle this beautiful town has many bars, restaurants and shops. There is also a disco and public swimming pools.

Flix has a main rail link straight to Barcelona, which is you haven't been before is a beautiful city with many things to see and do. Salou and the main theme park Port Aventura are only a 50 minute drive away. This popular holiday resort boasts a beautiful beach, many bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife.
