Cat Fishing Holidays on the River Ebro, SpainWe are based in the town of Flix and as our name implies we are right on the banks of the fabulous River Ebro.

The stunning Ebro famous for its huge Carp and Wels Catfish is just 150 metres from the accommodation which lets you really make the most of your stay.

The stretch of river here is governed by an upstream dam which makes the river almost pond like, shallow near bank (safer for children) and depths of 8 metres on the far bank.

We can cater for all anglers, from the total beginner to the hardened carp angler. Guiding is included with your stay with us, We have over 14 years experience fishing the Ebro, whether it be tying of rigs, to baiting up or handling and weighing the huge Ebro cats we will be there to help.

Tackle Hire

Tackle hire is also included, we use top quality rods from Shimano, Free Spirit and Nash, reels from Shimano and alarms/nets from Fox.

The stretch of river here with its beautiful peaceful surroundings is not the only place you can fish with us.

We have equally beautiful spots near by which gives you a chance to see and fish other parts of this truly fabulous river.

Here at On The Ebro you can relax and really enjoy your fishing in beautiful surroundings. The nature reserve is on the far bank and is home to a vast number of different birds. In the summer months you can listen to the amazing tropical sounds of the Golden Orioles and watch Black Kites perform and search for their prey. As dusk falls look out for the Nightjars flying silently looking for moths, and the Nightingale sings it’s incredible song all through the night.

Getting here is easy, Ryanair fly into Reus from most UK airports, here you will be picked up and taken back to Flix which takes only 50 minutes. Or you can fly to Bacelona with Easyjet where we can arrange to pick you up for €200 or use the train which comes straight to Flix.

We cater for up to 4 anglers with 2 guests at any one time.
